  • open organization with limited liability called NV;
  • partnership with different types of responsibility.

Each of these forms is characterized by the absence of minimum capital requirements. Non-residents can act as directors and shareholders.

Taxation

The rate at which profits are taxed is determined by the state and fixed at the legislative level – 30%. Offshore businesses that were registered in Curacao prior to 2002 are exempt from tax. Private companies with limited liability are not required to pay taxes in the following cases:

  • activities in the field of banking services, including loans and investments. Banking activities are not included here.
  • a corresponding application was submitted to the tax control authorities;
  • the board of directors includes at least one resident of Curacao.
